APPLICATION | EARLY CAREER FELLOWSHIP IN PHILHELLENISM

SPRING 2022 Application | Early Career Fellowship in Philhellenism

Applicants must fill out the application completely before clicking on the “Submit” button at the end of the form. The system will not save incomplete applications. Almost all fields are mandatory; if you do not complete them, your application cannot be submitted. Fill out the application form in English. For questions that require more lengthy responses, applicants may draft their responses in a separate application (e.g. word processor), and then paste the text into the application form.

As part of the application process, applicants must upload three documents in PDF format:

  1. a detailed but brief research proposal in English of no more than 1,000 words. Bibliographies and references do not count toward the word limit.
  2. a curriculum vitae in English, documenting qualifications to conduct the proposed research, for example, through recent publications and presentations.
  3. a sample of published work in English or Greek of no more than 10,000 words.

Additionally, all prospective applicants should provide contact details for three letters of reference.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at midnight (Eastern European Time). References must be received by May 9, 2024. Once applicants have submitted their application, the CHS will automatically contact their referee and ask them to fill out a brief reference form. Some applicants may be invited to online interviews.

Applicants with questions should contact Evan Katsarelis, CHS Greece Programs and Events Manager, by email (ekatsarelis@chs.harvard.edu).
