June 19-20, 2026, Athens, Greece

Young Scholars’ Session: Call for Talks

WINTER 2025 Application | The Lyceum Project

Applicants must be PhD students or those within seven years of their PhD. They must fill out the application completely before clicking on the “Submit” button at the end of the form. The system will not save incomplete applications. Almost all fields are mandatory; if you do not complete them, your application cannot be submitted. Fill out the application form in English. For questions that require more lengthy responses, applicants may draft their responses in a separate application (e.g. word processor), and then paste the text into the application form.

As part of the application process, applicants must upload two documents in PDF format:

  1. A brief abstract for a 20-minute talk related to this year’s theme of The Lyceum Project “Entangled Intelligence: Ancestral. Artificial. Animate” (about 500 words). Bibliographies and references do not count toward the word limit.
  2. A brief resumé (up to two pages).

Additionally, prospective applicants should provide contact details for one letter of reference.

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at midnight (Eastern European Time). References must be received by March 13, 2026. Once applicants have submitted their application, Harvard’s CHS will automatically contact their referee and ask them to fill out a brief questionnaire.

If you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact programs-eventsgreece@chs.harvard.edu.
